Review of In the Heights (2021) by Moviemitch96 — 12 Jun 2021

Based off of Lin-Manuel Miranda's Broadway hit of the same name, this film follows various people throughout Washington Heights chasing and striving to achieve their dreams of fame, fortune, success, etc.

And it's just as dazzling and colorful as one could hope for! I can't even single out any cast members in this, cause everybody killed it and had a chance to shine in their own right! The story does feel like it follows a few too familiar tropes and beats at times, but is made up for through the sheer spirit and joy in every scene and actor present.
