Review of Illustration (2006) by Petros T — 27 Dec 2010
This film has set too many goals - more than what it can achieve. It tries to deal with politics, TV, prostitution, mental instability, art, life. It succeds partially, conveys some messages and, overall, it's food for thought, but many of its attempts fail completely (e.
G. those embarassing scenes with the politician and the prostitute and all the swearing). The end isn't completely satisfying, but what else could (or should) have happened, anyway? And, by the way, excellent performance by Panou.
