A thoughtful, moving study into human nature and the nature of change. How much does it take for any man to change and indeed how much can he change? It is almost impossible not to be moved by Takashi Shimura's performance as the unassuming Mr.
Watanabe as we follow him in his journey towards self discovery and self worth.
