One of the sideplots of this movie involves a remake of Paddy Chavesky's "Marty" that stars Aaron Carter. This alone makes it worth watching, but on top of that, it's a seriously enjoyable romantic comedy that doesn't gloss over the more depressing aspects of life, but also doesn't dwell on them.
