Review of I Served the King of England (2007) by Melissa H — 08 Mar 2009

Incredibly fascinating and surprising. Not at all what I expected. It was hilarious, historical, shocking, disturbing, sometimes even borderline porno which I was certainly not expecting. The cinematography was quite creative, especially if you pay close attention to it in the beginning/early middle of the film & then continue through the end, you may notice something.

I love these kinds of films though that take you through a persons life, sometimes going out of order, revealing little pieces of their life one by one and then how they got to be where they are now and what they have to say about all their achievements, hardships, regrets etc.

I would not see this film again however, once was enough.
