Review of I Am Love (2010) by Manuel S — 09 Nov 2013

Interesting. A mix of old and new filmmaking techniques gives the movie an unusual flare that really works at times...but also confuses at times. Overall, strong performances from the cast. Great cinematography and production design.

Narratively, I didn't quite understand all the characters. Some are portrayed so abstractly that it's hard to get to know them, even though I wanted to. But definitely a movie whose tone and world building will linger in my heart and mind.
