Review of Hush (2016) by Imthenoob — 13 Nov 2018
I like the idea of a killer stalking a deaf-mute woman but the story made no sense. She lives alone in an isolated house in the middle of the woods, She can't hear or speak and the killer had already cut her power.
What should have been a 10-minute movie was dragged on for an hour and a half because the killer was written to be a total moron. And aside from her being deaf, Hush recycles a lot of basic horror movie tropes and didn't really do enough to satisfy or keep me entertained throughout.
It's not an outright bad movie but I'd say it's overrated for sure when there are already thousands of films just like it.
