Review of Hour of the Wolf (1968) by Georgios L — 05 Jun 2011
I found this very difficult to penetrate. It is full of symbolism and very abstract images. The two leads are amazing actors and keep you interested till the end but it is all very anti-climactic and I kept thinking that this would fare much better as a play.
The final monologue will answer a lot of questions for you but you won't care enough to watch it again. What can I say? I didn't feel intrigued or horrified but at least I didn't get bored.
