Review of Hotel Rwanda (2004) by Kristy M — 30 Dec 2009
I really loved this movie. It can be summed up from one quote in the movie that was said by the character Jack (played by Joaquin Phoenix, a personal fav of mine): "I think if people see this footage they'll say, 'oh my God that's horrible,' and then go on eating their dinners.".
We have become so used to seeing atrocities on tv, that we have become complacent. But there are still a few in this world, that will do the job of many. I highly recommend this movie.
