Review of Hotel Rwanda (2004) by Tim R — 22 Nov 2015
Wow. I am speechless. Watching this story unfold through Don Cheadleâ(TM)s eyes is relentlessly gripping. At the beginning we see him telling others that everything will be OK because âthe world press is watchingâ?⦠but is it? There is a disconnect between these poor countries with corrupt governments and wealthier countries, which is highlighted by this movie.
The reasons behind this disconnect could be largely political, or simply due to general apathy or ignorance, but no matter what it is disturbing. This is a very important film that duly raises awareness to the atrocities that exist in todayâ(TM)s society, and we must not turn our heads.
