Review of Hot Coffee (2011) by Adam K — 06 Jul 2011
Terrific doc on the business community's twenty-year campaign to deny regular Americans their right to a day in court. From families wronged by small town doctors or global corporate behemoths, the right to a trial to hold business accountable for even gross misconduct has been whittled down to the extent that we're rapidly approaching a system where consumers must rely on big business to police itself.
I caught this on HBO this week, and it's definitely worth hunting down if you haven't seen it yet.
