Review of Horsemen (2009) by Chloe R — 02 Nov 2009
Undoubtedly suffering from 'we don't know what to do with this, so let's hack it up and send it DTV' syndrome, this unfortunate thriller never eventually adds up. Quaid tries admirably in his morose role and makes the proceedings more watchable than others of its ilk (Zhang on the other hand is horribly miscast).
It's unfortunate that the clever central concept surrounding the murders is just too big and ill-thought out for the film and ultimately makes it seem too silly to be shocking.
