The date they have here for the release of the movie is incorrect. It was actually 1986. I was a freshman in HS, and our varsity coach took us to see this. Being from Indiana I have a special place in my heart for this movie, living 15 miles from the school this story was written about makes it even more of a reason to love this movie.
Go Milan Indians! Nothing could ever take this place of this movie in my heart.
