Review of Hoosiers (1986) by Andy T — 22 Nov 2014
It'd dodged the usual "underdog predictability" by not being one but still have that uplifting/cheering spirit of a really good sports flick that has a unique nature to the way of how the games were performed and how the players played and how the coach coached. Both Gene Hackman and Dennis Hopper were the spotlights next to the things as it was a kind of sports film about getting back on your feet. (A-).
