A wonderful movie and close to my heart. As a Hoosier kid who grew up in an area w/o a football team and before 1,000 channels or the Colts coming to Indy, this was my life in my small Indiana town - just presented 30 years earlier.
Parts were filmed near where I lived and in Indianapolis. One of my favorite films. It's a great story with wonderful actors and local extras. It's NOT just a basketball movie. Worth a watch just for the performance by the late great Dennis Hopper.
