My favorite sports film...Hackman gives one of his great performances (tho u can say that about any performance of his)..he was brilliant here.....and Dennis Hopper..wow...so deserving of his oscar nom.
..the scene where Hackman gets thrown out so Hopper can coach the rest of the game..just the scared,insecure,nervous look on Hoppers face..brilliant actor...great score and beautiful cinematography as well.
