I really liked the 1st half. Rich characters, nice noir vibe, and I love both Adrien Brody and Diane Lane, but it had many of the same problems as Zodiac. For starters, it was too long. Secondly, it's based on a true story that was never concretely solved.
Thus, the ending can�t really be all that satisfying. It was similar to Black Dahlia, but with better acting. Worth watching if you�re into the golden age of Hollywood, but not all that great.
