Review of Hollywoodland (2006) by Russell S — 21 Jan 2008
Fantastic performances save what could have been a boring script, Brody as the PI who investigates George Reeves' death, finding the actors search for fame and downfall mirrors his own life. Affleck is also completely believable as Reeves who becomes frustrated with his stagnated career and is unable to escape Superman.
We are forced to draw our own conclusions as to what actually happened, but it's still interesting.
