Review of High Plains Drifter (1973) by Zaidsheikh94 S — 03 Mar 2011
High Plains Drifter is one of the strangest westerns I've seen which makes it also one of my personal favourites. The movie is so mysterious and makes us think so much. The film has various layers and it works even in the superficial level.
Clint Eastwood's character in this film doesn't match the The Man with No Name character in the Dollars trilogy but is inspired by it. There is always a hint of supernatural which makes the film so gripping.
This film is a major achievement in Eastwood's early directorial career.
