Review of Pale Rider (1985) by George H — 30 Aug 2007
This movie pretty much Shane's ugly stepsister. The acting is bad - as is the script - and half the plot is ridiculously unnecessary.
To Roger Ebert, who gave it four stars: Just because it's a Clint Eastwood pic (of whom I'm a huge fan) doesn't mean it should automatically get props. Compare this to his masterpieces. Or standalone, really, it fails.
