Review of Hesher (2010) by X X — 14 Sep 2011
Grim as it is, the film is a uniquely unsentimental and always interesting study of grief and catharsis. It's another one of those films where an external, physical metaphor illustrates a character's internal reality - in this case, the hostile feelings and blunt realizations of a grieving boy.
