Review of Hereafter (2010) by Greg R — 03 Jun 2012
This a poignant film that intersects the lives of three characters, One that is affected by the death of a close relative , another that encounters a near death experience, and the third who is a factory worker and a reluctant psychic who finds himself again pulled into a vocation he has tried to leave behind.
The opening scene is very dramatic and the rest of the film pales in comparison, but overall it is a good film that could have used a little more character development. it attempts to answer the big question of life after death, and addresses this through the characters experiences.
Interesting? yes. Would I watch this again? probably not.
