Review of Heckler (2007) by Kyle E — 09 Nov 2008
Roger Ebert once talked about a producer who clapped at the end of every movie no matter what. The producer knew how hard it was to get a movie made, and how hard it was to get it on screen. It is a difficult process, and sometimes we forget how much and blood and sweat it takes to make something for ourselves. It doesn't matter what it is, whether you're a standup, a writer, a filmmaker, or whatever the case. It takes a lot of determination and work.
The other thing that you have to take into consideration is when you realizing the people you're criticizing have feelings. Something that critics seem to sometimes forget. To me there is no worse ever made. Yes there are movies that aren't good, but even bad movies are good in a way. Because they provide examples on how to do things.
This is a good little film that helps us remember that we all are human, and that sometimes it's been to actually give good critique then slamming people into the wall all the time.
