Review of Heaven (2002) by Jadrien D — 13 Apr 2008
The content of [i]Heaven[/i], while nothing exceedingly original, begged to draw me in... and even came close at times. The only thing stopping it from doing so was the many unrealistic stunts that were pulled by the two main characters, fittingly topped off by the laughable "happy" ending. Not only was the final scene ridiculous but it was far too blatantly telegraphed, in my opinion. The opening of the movie not seeming to fit in at all and the mention of helicopters in flight over the farm was more than enough to clue me in on where this was headed. I wonder where they're going to land...
(Oh yeah, I did enjoy a few of the beautiful panoramic shots incorporated into this movie.).
