Hearts Beat Loud is a true joy of a film. A film with a huge heart and a beautiful smile. It's a film in love with music and that won me over immediately. Nick Offerman is superb as the record store owner who is struggling with change.
His daughter is moving away to college and he is trying to hold things together. It's a fairly simple story but told with immense truth and compassion. Ultimately it's a very well crafted family drama with a nice splashing of comedy.
