Review of Hatchet (2006) by Scotty Bear — 08 Jul 2008
So I'm not really into Comedy-Horror films just because most of them dont know how to balance the genres out but I've actually been dying to see this one just because of all the praise I heard about it.
The humorous parts were indeed funny and the gore was a little like "what the fuck?". Over the top and unrealistic but hey what's a comedy-horror without having any fun? I love the guest appearances by Englund, Hodder, and Todd (Freddy, Jason, and Candyman).
Again, If you're looking for a serious horror film, Dont watch. If your looking for a chessy horror film that you've never heard of but want to have fun with it. Hatchet is the pick.
