Review of Hard Candy (2005) by Chris T — 15 Mar 2011
This movie is a tough one to judge, and I'm sure anyone whose seen this will flame me for giving it 5/5 stars.
Simply put: this movie has some EXTREMELY intense scenes between the two villains (yes, I'm calling them both the bad guys) that revolves solely on the dialogue and fantastic performances. There are long-shots in here that are, in my opinion, necessary for any good suspense movie -- and this one sure is a good suspense movie.
I'll end this with saying that the opening scene with the two meeting for the first time is very, very disturbing.
