Review of Hard Candy (2005) by Donna B — 11 Feb 2018

I didn't know what this was about when I saw it. Had no idea. Boy, was I shocked at the turn it took! And while I abhor cruelty, and movies that focus too much on that aspect, once I understood the background, I found myself understanding the situation and seeing where both people were coming from.

The plot was clever, the writing realistic. Page and Wilson were committed to their roles, and it showed. I love seeing movies where everything comes together, and everyone's at the top of their game.

Good movie. Not for the faint of heart, though.
