Review of Halloween II (1981) by Lovro H — 08 Jul 2015
The movie literally starts at the ending of the first one and we get to see what happened with Michael and Laurie. There are some interesting plot twists and we get to find out more about Michael's past and his motive on why is he doing what he is.
It's still scary and intense, though sometimes it can be really silly. Some of the kills are so unreal and stupid I couldn't enjoy them. The acting is okay, it's not the best. The music is, as in the first one, great and the theme song is perfect for when Michael shows up! The ending makes you think like this is the last Halloween movie, but there are 8 more, and I'm looking forward to seeing how he survived the end and what the hell could happen next.
All in all, it's a good sequel with some very silly moments, but also some really scary moments. I'd recommend it to those who've seen the first movie.
