Review of Halloween 5: The Revenge of Michael Myers (1989) by Danny E — 08 Sep 2008
I'd say I'm pretty easy on the Halloween films when it comes to reviews, but this one sucks balls. It looks cheap, it has some terrible inappropriate attempts as comedy - check out the strange "slapstick" music they put over the cop scenes - and Tina must be the worlds most annoying main female character.
She keeps giggling without reason and during a creepy scene in a barn where a mad killer is on the loose she cries: "Oooooo - kittens!" Thankfully, she is murdered. Donald Pleasence proves himself to be the worlds worst psychiatrist when he grabs the traumatised little girl's legs and screams "You know where he is!!!" whilst shaking her.
Cack.
