Review of Halloween 5: The Revenge of Michael Myers (1989) by Steve J — 03 Dec 2009
While Halloween 4 made some sort of sense, this one goes completely off the rails. After spending a year being looked after a hermit in a shack, Michael awakes to find that he's got some bloke with a tattoo on his wrist who wants to help him out in trying to kill everyone.
Meanwhile, Donald Pleasence runs around doing his usual shtick, Danielle Harris acts her little socks off, and some comedy cops with slap stick music say stupid things. The victims are mostly detestable, and the only remotely likable one is killed after ten minutes.
This really is a mental pile of rubbish.
