Review of Halloween 5: The Revenge of Michael Myers (1989) by Mark N — 01 May 2012
While not a sparkling sequel, just about all the Halloween movies follow the same template, Pleasence's continued appearances lends huge credibility to the proceedings. The story is routine and much like the previous years Friday the 13th part VII they explore a psychic connection with the killer and victim.
What is often over looked is a stellar performance by young Danielle Harris who has an enormous task in conveying the continual horror of her situation and does so amazingly earnestly and professionally.
