Review of Halloween (2018) by Caileb B — 17 Oct 2018
I loved it, the homage it pays to the original 1978 film and and increase brutality of Michael is already enough to sell me, but it's beautifully shot and scored with enough terrifying moments, and moments where you want to clap.
Halloween also leaves us with a question... why? why does Michael do what he does? is he driven by something? or someone? is he truly after Laurie or is that just what they want you to think, because Michael never actively goes after her, he is always lead to her or she goes to him.
A super interesting question to pose about a seemingly "emotionless" killer.
