Review of Halloween (2007) by Guido S — 02 Nov 2013
In a remake and prequel of sorts, this version of Halloween shows Michael in his early days of killing his family and spending time in the insane asylum in that aftermath. Helps to flesh out the character a little more that hadn't been explored too much before the film.
The film is also very visceral and gritty, like voyeur esque shots through shrubbery and bushes while a kill is going on to make it that much creepier. Not as good as the first, but holds up just fine on its own.
