The original will always reign supreme. But Zombie's focus on the character of Michael Myers was a great choice of direction.
I dug the movie pretty much from start to finish. There was a lag during the time Michael was in Smith's Grove and the film as a whole could have been cut down about ten or fifteen minutes, but overall I enjoyed myself and thought it was a cool reworking of tha character.
Also, man, there are a lot of naked girls in this movie. Which is a nice treat on Halloween.
See it with an open mind.
