Review of Gringo Trails (2014) by David D — 30 Sep 2017
The film Gringo Trails by Pegi Vail offers an interesting and accurate viewpoint regarding mass tourism and its effects on the destination. The film was well edited and used audio accompaniment that complements the video clips used in this documentary, e.
G. when tourists were brushing their teeth, the music started out with shakers that made a 'brushing' noise; or when the tourists were shown fishing, the music featured a plucked string ensemble.
Gringo Trails is not just an informative and credible documentary but is also a captivating and entertaining movie.
