Review of Gridlock'd (1997) by Connor K — 22 Nov 2005
Tupac certainly breaks the barrier for "rappers can't act in the movies" with his powerful performance here. Unlike "Juice" & "Poetic Justice", Pac is able to bring out the versatility inside of him which people and critics often question.
His role of "Spoon" shows the laid back, charismatic, witty and even serious side of a person who often gets associated with guns, violence and drugs(okay I admit!) Shakur's smoothest performance yet! Definitely a film for a wide mature audience that dosen't disapoint! Not to mention Tim Roth's stupidity actualy gives way for good comedy.
