Review of Gridlock'd (1997) by Alex W — 14 Jun 2013
I'm amiss as to how this movie got such high scores from other reviewers. It's basically a story of two junkies going from place to place complaining about a) they can't get into a rehab program or b) they can't score drugs.
When they do come across a rather sizable score of drugs, instead of (realistically) going to do the drugs, they head to the next place where they can stand in line to sign up for rehab. Totally unrealistic, and totally stupid.
Would get one star, but I'll give it two for Tupac and Tim Roth doing as much as they can with this watered-down "buddy drama." But honestly, one of the stupidest movies I've ever seen.
