Review of Grand Hotel (2008) by Giffy G — 03 Jan 2008
This was a highly innovative film. The story telling mechanism was a surprising departure from what I expect from 1930s Hollywood. It definitely reminded me of Dinner for 8 (in that good way), and I was surprised with how sophisticatedly it dealt with complex issues.
The acting alone made this movie dazzling, and that was far from the only good quality.
