I really liked this movie. The characters were compelling and well-performed, the script was endearing, and the lack of a coherent resolution served this movie very well. What I wanted was actually more balance.

We had WAY more of Dustin Hoffman's character than Emma Thompson's. Her character was equally compelling and I wanted more of her journey. I understand that this movie is "Last Chance Harvey" not "Last Chance Harvey and Kate," but her character development was a little slack compared to his.

Still, an enjoyable movie.
