Review of Goodbye World (2013) by Rory K — 09 Aug 2014
A great setup, with talented actors, beautiful photography and perfect locations is immediately snuffed out by terrible character writing, conflicting, half-formed ideologies, and total lack of story progression.
That is why this 'film' got such a low rating. Imagine 'Sideways', but the apocalypse is happening. Somewhere. Far away. The poster should be everyone at the table smoking a joint and laughing at nothing, not a burning city and a strong male lead (he doesn't exist).
False advertising. Anyone that would find this film interesting and the characters relatable are probably as dull and pop-culture-obsessed as the writers must be.
