Review of Good Night, and Good Luck. (2005) by Nate W — 25 May 2010
Beautifully shot, well written and well acted. Minimalist camera work lends to the feeling that the footage is actually from the 50s. Those not already familiar with the McCarthy hearings may find themselves a little lost, as almost no explanation or context is given about the events surrounding the action, and the piece can't really be called "fair and balanced", but it definitely does the subject matter justice.
Overall, a very good film, strongly recommended.
