Review of Good Morning, Vietnam (1987) by Aw C — 30 Nov 2014
A well known classic that everyone seem to love. A different war-film where we follow a new and funny DJ as he's turning into everyones favorite in Saigon. He makes fun, he talks a lot and he seem like nice guy. Of course he get's invovled with the rest of nation and the locals so we got a solid plot taking views from several angles. This is mostly Williams' film. He is the center and he owns every scene. For me it's not much else to pull out of this film. It's not THAT funny, it's rather typical in most ways and I don't really feel the story or sympethize with anyone.
6 out of 10 polkas.
