Review of Godzilla: Tokyo S.O.S. (2003) by Jim A — 30 Oct 2013

This time at least the continuity picks up where it left off, with MechaGodzilla still undergoing repairs since the last film (Godzilla X MechaGodzilla). The inclusion of Mothra and the Twin Fairies (GROAN!), puts a spin on the plot by having the fairies warn about the consequences of using Godzilla's bones in MechaGodzilla's construction (NOT THIS AGAIN, GROAN!) and saying it must be destroyed to let the dead rest.

Goofy plot elements aside, this film has some impressive battle visuals with Godzilla, MechaGodzilla, and Mothra all looking well done with the effects work looking SUPERB and the choregraphy looking great!
