Review of Godzilla 1985 (1985) by Thomas N — 12 Jul 2011
This installment is a direct sequel to the very first Godzilla movie and ignores all 14 sequels that are in between. Godzilla is now back to his destructive roots and greatly updated for the time. The only thing missing from this film was another monster but at least we got to see Raymond Burr reprise his role in the american version of this as Steve Martin.
This was a great revival to the series but what came to follow was even better.
