Review of Girlfriend Experience (2008) by Cl O — 30 May 2011
What a gorgeous movie! So magnificently shot, that at times I paused the movie to analyze the composition and lighting...even Soderbergh's choice of what remained in focus. I found the story hinged enough to keep me interested; yet really, was too enamored by the camera work to care about much else.
There are many frames from his scenic shots I would want framed and mounted on my wall. So for those of you who enjoy the technicalities of camera and lighting, give it a try. Its only 77 minutes anyways.
