A socially conscious and solid film from 1947 tackling Anti semitism through an undercover expose at a magazine. Peck steps in as the journalist undertaking a story that will ultimately change his life and his entire perspective.
A strong moral film with amazing performances that takes a while to find its groove but when there rides it nicely to the end, maintaining momentum for its 2 hour length.
Worth a watch to gain an insight into how Hollywood has dealt with age old issues such as this back in a time when such issues were still relatively undiscussed.
