Review of Gentleman's Agreement (1947) by Christine R — 07 Sep 2013
Powerful film taking on the issue of racism and anti-Semitism not long after WWII ended. This film won Best Picture and has a great message in that some of the worst kinds of prejudice are the silent kind, when people just sit back and let things happen in order to go with the flow.
I also love any movie that has NYC as a back drop. Seeing some familiar spots circa 1947 was fantastic.
