Review of Gaslight (1944) by Sebastian U — 04 Sep 2012
Some of the dialogue in the love scenes actually seems to be written by George Lucas, but with a clever plot, eerie atmosphere, excellent camerawork, a competent score by Bronislav Kaper and great performances - Charles Boyer absolutely steals the show -, "Gaslight" is a favourite example of the old and grand thrillers of the 1940s.
