Review of Ganga (1960) by Adrian B — 20 Feb 2012
This is one of Martin Scorsese's all-time favourite and most inspiring films. It was shot on location in Bengali using Technicolor which really brings out the beauty of the location. Master director Jean Renoir is at the top of his game with this film which tells the coming of age story of a young English girl.
It is a great opportunity to see and experience a different culture and I quite enjoyed it. Highly recommended!
